Abstract

The peculiarities are considered; the classification of methods and systems of underground reserves development by combined deposits exploitation is put forward. In its terms the rational versions of development are designed. The economic-mathematical model and the program for computation technicaland-economic indexes with PEC-aid are worked out, that make it possible to set up the efficient version of exploiting underground reserves of the Ural copper-zinc deposit by combined development as well as — the optimum story height. From the position of system analysis, the economic-mathematical model gives the opportunity to determine the state of the sub-system “development” of underground reserves; the state being estimated according to brought forward criteria, depending from a great number of operating specific and traditional factors, actualized by combined deposit exploitation.
It is set up that the process and scheme of subsurface reserves mining are sufficiently influenced by: the mode of combined deposit exploitation (parallel or subsequent), making for the potentiality for an open pit use; the volume and space location of subsurface reserves concerning an open pit (near-pit and sub-pit reserves presence or absence); the depth of reserves occurrence under pit bottom and the ore body pitch angle; the class of a subsurface mining system, providing the state of open pit edges.
The economic-mathematical model takes account of nearly 120 mining-geological, mining-technical, economic and specific factors, that increases its adequacy. Three essentially distinguishing from each other modes of reserves mining are designed and estimated, that is by vertical shafts from the surface, by inclined and vertical shafts from the surface and by auto-grades out of an open pit and from the surface.

The article is made ready on the results of investigations on the UB RAS competitive project 12-M-23457-2041.
