Eurasian Mining
In February 2012, the Institute of Mining of Ural Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences markedthe 50th anniversary. Articles of the issue cover topics on such areas of research activities of the Institute, as exploration and multipurpose utilization of mineral resources of the Ural region, study of geomechanical and geodynamic processes, mining deep-seated deposits, open-cast transport, risk of accidents and disasters forecasting and reduction in the subsoil usage applying the advanced methods of exploration.
