Personnel issue. Norbert Theelen appointed Deputy Board Member

With effect from April 1, 2013 Norbert Theelen has been appointed Deputy Member of the Managing-Board of SMS Meer. At the same time, he assumes the management of the Tube Plants Division.
The 55-year-old has held a number of positions with the company since 1973 and most recently was in charge of the Seamless Tube Plants Product Area.
”Thanks to his comprehensive market and product know-how and his long years of experience in mechanical and plant engineering, Norbert Theelen will further promote the positive development of our company,” says Heinrich Weiss, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SMS Meer and Chairman of the Managing Board of SMS GmbH.
Other members of the Managing Board of SMS Meer include Dr. Joachim Schönbeck (CEO), Torsten Heising (CFO) and Jens Barth (Managing Director Sales).
