Abstract

A promising direction in crushingandgrinding equipment improvement has been revealed. Rock disintegration character dependence on relative deformation has been analyzed. The algorithm of combining crushing and grinding stages in one working chamber is substantiated. The shape of working chamber of cone crushermill has been chosen, zones of material transformation (crushing, grinding) are distinguished. Limiting values of relative deformation in rock lumps breaking and start of material pressing are determined. Distribution of relative deformation values with respect to material transformation zones in working chamber is established. The cone crushermill design has been proposed, providing for realization of proposed rock disintegration algorithm. The crushermill production prototype testing results are presented, verifying a high degree of grinding and low energy consumption of prototype. A high reliability and repairability of crushermill prototype are shown. The results of crushermill calculation for throughput rate of 100–120 t/h by 0.071 mm product are presented. Possible development of rock disintegration energyefficient technologies on the basis of the proposed crushermill is expressed.
