Abstract | Concentrating tables are used for the dressing of tin, tungsten, rare, precious metals ores and other minerals. There is the great number of concentrating tables design, in particular round form. Nowadays round concentrating tables are not used actually. But this kind of tables can be more efficient than rocking concentrating tables which are widely used now. This is explained by the fact that the round tables have additional forces acting on particles – first of all it is centrifugal force. New design of round rotational concentrating table was developed. The table has a round rotational deck with circular riffles, which are divided into two sectors, and distributing bin. Sectors of decks have three discharging zones for separated products, in particular for low density, middling and heavy materials, with consistently increasing radius. Comparative tests of concentrating shaking tables and of the basic experimental model of a rotating circular table were conducted for concentration of ferrosilicium-quartz mixture and gold ores. The using of round tables can increase the technological data of beneficiation. Tables with discharging windows and special form of deck's sectors divider was designed. Some windows are used for discharging of light product, a few for middling and number of windows for heavy material. In this case, you can easily change the number of windows for discharging of every product. The presence of windows allows to accurately adjust discharging of separated products, improving the technological data of beneficiation. Divider of the sectors is made in the shape of arc, the band is located to the direction of deck rotation, it avoids the appearance of “dead zone” on the surface of concentrating tables, increasing its specific capacity. |
