The condition and development perspectives of raw-mineral base of non-ferrous (copper, lead, zinc and other), rare (tungsten, tin, molybden and other) and rare earthing metals at Kazakhstan are considered. The basic industrial-genetic types of mineral fields of Kazakhstan with display of most their characteristic species and ore areas are given. The raw-mineral base of non-ferrous and rare metals of the Republic is one of the leading in the world but at the same time through qualitative and quantitative characteristics of some mineral resources has concession to major international producers. For ensuring of effective functioning of raw-mineral complex of non-ferrous and rare metals depends from resources quality, their reproduction, development and perfection of concentration and raw processing technologies, reduction of mining and processing outlays. At present time the raw-mineral base has demand of fundamental revaluation with orientation to international requests for raw-mineral.
