This article describes a history of opening the Arkhangelsk diamondiferous province: from the discovering of pipes of Nenoksky field blast, which was the substantiation for holding the purposeful works on searching the native diamond sources, till the defence of geological report with diamond reserves accounting.
The chronology and searching methods are discovered along with the technologies, which are applied for confirmation that the province is diamondiferous.
The idea of obtaining the large-volumetric samples by method of a ful-hole drilling is concidered along with the usage of drill bits and mobile enrichment plants of unique constructions.
In 1999, the group of specialists awarded a prize of Russian Government for development of the environmentally acceptable technologies of estimating, surveying and extracting works with using the major diameter wells.
The Ministry of Geology of USSR awarded the specialists of industrial and geological consolidations Arkhangelskaya, Nevskgeologiya, Sevzapgeologiya and Aerogeologiya with a title “Discoverer of a deposit” for discovering, accelerated exploration and preparation for exploitation.
