This article shares the history of the creation and development of the roasting department of dolomites on Dokuchaevsk Flux and Dolomite Industrial Complex. The department was set in operation in 1963. For years of department's work, it's technology of production and equipping has been permanently improved. There were introduced new roasting furnaces and the specific gas discharge was decreased. There is enlarged the range of high-quality products, which is released in department.

Technology of the materials production for construction industry are developed along with an output of burnt products. Using this method, the caustic dolomite was obtained in laboratory conditions. The caustic dolomite is an innovation, prospective and pollution-free construction material, which is widely used in global practice for obtaining various products. One of the most priority and prospective directions of the activity of enterprise is diversity of roasted production line and broadening of outlet.
