Abstract | The eudialyte ores of Lovozersky Deposit are the most prospective source of providing the industry with zirconium, rare and rare-earth elements. The single parameter – the value ratio (VR) is offered for the comparative characteristics of the rare-earth ores and minerals. The eudialyte ores can be compared favorably with the ores of another objects in composition of rare-earth oxides and the quantity of the VR. The eudialyte lujaurites make the top and center part of Lovozersky massif nephelinic syenites. The richest ores are concentrated at the Alluayv district. The main ores` minerals are: eudialyte, feldspars, nepheline and aegirite. It is essential to develop the ore dressing and eudialyte concentrate processing industrial technology. The work is held against the State contract No. 16. 515.11.5066 with the financial support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russian Federation. |
