Abstract | As a result of the complex researches of admixture composition, deviations from stoichiometry, electro-physical and electrochemical characteristics of pyrite and arsenopyrite, added by the mathematical formalization of interrelations between separate parameters the dominating factors of their behavior in flotation process are defined. It is determined that impurities of copper, gold and arsenic in pyrite and copper and gold in arsenopyrite are the key parameters defining the efficiency of flotation extraction of sulfides, and can be used as parameters of a preliminary look-ahead estimation of flotation activity of pyrites in gold ores processing. The role of isomorphic impurities in formation of a hydrophobic layer of thyol collectors on the surface of minerals is defined at processing of ores of complex material composition. Starting with non-stoichiometric structure of natural crystals of gold-bearing sulfides, parameters of inconstancy of frequency rate of a parity of quantities of iron and sulfur in pyrites of various deposits are defined. It is determined that the increase of non-stoichiometry as towards surplus, and a lack of anionic part leads to increase of a share of chemical adsorption of xanthate. Influence of admixture composition on рН value at which maxima of floatability and a trend of their shift in alkaline area is defined. Criteria of a forecast estimation of technological properties of gold-bearing sulfide minerals of variable admixture composition are scientifically proved. On the basis of the analysis and generalization of experimental data the scientifically-methodical approach to an estimation of technological properties of pyrite and arsenopyrite by the various genesis is developed, helping to consider features of flotation properties of the minerals, connected with gold content. On the basis of the correlation equations in boundary conditions of change of variable parameters criteria of a forecast estimation of technological properties of gold-bearing sulfides and condition of their selection at flotation are scientifically proved (αCu ≥ 0.01%, αAs < 2%, αAu ≥ 10 ppm in pyrite; αCu <0.2%, αAu <100 ppm in arsenopyrite). |
