| Abstract | For increasing automated inspection capacity two new disc inspection facilities and one new shaft inspection facility were installed at Saarschmiede GmbH in the years 2006 until 2007. Inspection is performed by multiple-channel technique using conventional and phased-array probes. Various data processing tools allow a detailed evaluation of the recorded data. Special test forgings are used for the qualification of the inspection facilities. |
