Abstract | To traverse clinical situations with endodontic Ni–Ti file wreckage in tooth root canal a new microwelding method was developed. Extraction of a broken Ni–Ti file fragment is carried out by a special 2-feeds extracting Ni–Ti electrode which is contact resistance welded to the fragment using microprocessor controlled battery powered device. Fabrication technology for these Ni–Ti extracting electrodes is described. |
