Abstract | Flotation process operation-and-technological monitoring principles, developed by Outotec, are considered. Historic data, accumulated by Customer, are analyzed in the course of auditing, using nonparametric statistics and in-depth analysis techniques (factor and cluster analyses, time-series analysis, spectral (Fourier) analysis, neural networks). Results of general sampling for circulation processes optimality and individual operations' recoveries estimation, as well as flotation cycles balancing and modeling development, are analyzed on the basis of HSC Sim software (Outotec). Production bottlenecks and headaches are exposed by way of particular cases, and recommendations are offered with respect to flotation operations technology and automation improvement. |
