A study of various parameters effect on sinter strength of Mikhailovsky and Lebedinsky concentrates

Effects on sinter strength (impact) have been studied: sinter mix carbon content, moisture content; gas mixture calorific value; blast-furnace dust, solid fuel and lime consumption. Approximation equations have been derived and parameters have been optimized. Sinter strength increase permitted to achieve annual economic benefit of approximately 1.7 million rubles.
