Abstract The work presents the results of carbonate-fluorite ores flotation studies without pulp heating, using asparal F and fatty acids mixes as collectors in combination with sodium fluoride. Optimum reagents ratios have been determined, providing for froth products structure improvement and achievement of optimal metallurgical results. Application of fatty acids collectors combinations, differing in hydrocarbon radical composition and structure, permits to achieve 15–25 % decrease in their total consumption with concurrent increase of flotation metallurgical results. The laboratory studies results are corroborated by commercial-scale testing.
