Abstract | Composition materials with matrix of aluminium alloys, hardened with TiC particles, have been produced with casting technology using method of mechanical mixing of filling compound in matrix melt. The structure, mechanical and tribotechnical properties of composition materials have been researched. It has been shown, that TiC particles become the center of crystallization thanks to satisfactory Al wetability with melt. Filling compound distribution in matrix, evaluated with method of Dirikhle mosaics has been characterized as slightly regular. Implementation of TiC particles in matrix melts stabilize friction process, widen triboloading diapason, lead to reducing friction coefficient and raising durability by 2–3 times. |
