Abstract
Crystallization of sodium carbonate from commercial aluminate solutions in the presence of inoculating crystals has been researched at the laboratory device in isothermal conditions. Inoculating crystals are the anhydrous sodium carbonate. Comparison of obtained experimental data with theoretical equations, described dummy bar influence on solution over-saturation has been realized. It has been shown that dummy bar crystals reduce solution over-saturation on sodium and their growth flows according to equation of first order relative to over-saturation. General kinetic coefficient of growth equation of crystals of dummy bar has been determined. Recommendations about choosing optimal concentration of dummy bar crystals during realization industrial crystallization of sodium carbonate have been done.
