Abstract | The current state of ore-preparation circuits of concentrating plants treating porphyry copper ores has been analyzed. Energy-efficient ore-preparation flow sheets and equipment employed in the latest projects of large mining and processing operations by the world leading copper producing companies have been considered. The tendencies in ore-preparation circuits design have been revealed, characterized by two main competitive methods: ore semiautogenous grinding and press-roll crushing. |
