Abstract | The results have been presented of us ing methods of laser ablation ICP mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) and spark ablation ICP atomic emission spectrometry (SA-ICP-OES) for impurity control (28 impurity elements) of refined gold standard and small bars. The methods can be considered as nondestructive ones. A comparison of LA-ICP-MS and SA-ICP-OES was made as for the following features: sample requirements, impurity elements detection limits, spot diameter on a sample surface, the loss of a sample mass, analysis duration, precision. |
