Abstract | Moisture capacity, micro-hardness and durability of kimberlites in the conditions of interaction with mineralized water and products of its electrolysis have been researched. The mechanism of selective weakening of diamond-bearing kimberlites with electrochemically processed water during the process of wet self-grinding has been scientifically substantiated. It is established that diffusion of water molecules in kimberlite volume is increased as a result of electrochemical processing. Industrial tests of electrochemical technologies of water preparation during the process of wet self-grinding of kimberlites have been tested at the concentration plant №3 of Mirninskiy Mining and Concentrating Plant. |
