The current state and level of equipment and technology, as well as engineering-and-economical performance in production of marketable output at OAO «Karelsky Okatysh», OAO «Olkon» and OAO «Kovdorsky MCC» are analyzed. Upgrade alternatives are proposed for the existing ore-preparation and concentration flow sheets, with consideration of production, commercial and ecological efficiency increase, provided, that capital investments pay-back periods are within 2.5 years. A long-term strategy of advanced modernization is recommended for the above-mentioned operations, providing for further improvement in ores and rocks utilization profitability, as well as diversification of production with competitive marketable products range differentiation.
