Abstract | The article describes the advantages of KID® crushers as compared with other machines in production of cubeshaped crushed stone. It is shown, that the main distinction of inertia crushers from widely known eccentric crushers consists in adjustable reduction ratio of crushed material, permitting one KID® crusher to take the place of two crushing stages. Introduction of simplified twostage processing flow sheets at crushed stone production plants permits to reduce capital investments in their construction by 32 %, power inputs — by 20 %, reduce liners steel wear almost by the factor of two, and increase labor productivity more than by 20 %. |
