| Abstract |
The article proposes a methodological approach to evaluation of the mixing and charging machines for preparation of granulites mixtures at their application points in severe climate conditions of the North and Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation using recycling materials. The method involves the expert evaluation of the selected criteria together with their qualitative attributes. The domestic and foreign models of the mixing and charging machines, their design (mechanical features, auxiliary equipment), as well as the physical and technical properties of recycling materials (oil products, aluminium and coal powders, rubber and plastic crumbs, etc.) are reviewed. The integrated evaluation procedure includes four key criteria: chassis, attached implements, compatibility with recycling materials and a package of arctic fittings if any. For each criterion, the weight factors are determined on the basis of the expert evaluation. The paper reviews and classifies Russian manufacturers of mixing and charging machines (full- and small-scale production) for preparation of granulit mixtures with recycling materials and their basic structural and technical characteristics are identified. The content of the ‘arctic fitting package’ for the mixing and charging machines is determined and detailed, including a winter set for chassis, thermal insulation, and heating systems for reservoirs, fuel lines, pumps and mixers. The expert evaluation matrix for the comparison of different the mixing and charging machines models and the integrated evaluation procedure with the weight factors of each criterion are presented. The proposed methodical approach allows the comparative analysis of the equipment for the mechanical preparation and charging of granulit mixtures using recycling materials in the conditions of low temperatures, aimed at enhanced ecological safety and efficiency of blasting operations in the North and in the Arctic areas. |
