Abstract |
With the help of computer modeling by the finite element method the technological process for repair of large-thickness castings and forgings of pearlitic steels by means of welding has been considered. The values of thermal fields of the most heat-loaded regions of the metal with a wide and narrow sample of the defective area are shown. Assessment of the structural composition of the metal of wide and narrow samples after welding repair is given. The article gives recommendations for sampling of defective sections of large-thickness cast and forged products in terms of temperature effects on the base metal, as well as on the metal of welding passes. Recommendations for sampling of defective sections of large-thickness cast and forged products in terms of the impact on the structural composition of the repair weld are given. Thus, the article shows a method of reducing the probability of formation of microcracks in the metal after repair by welding large-thickness cast and forged products and reducing the probability of overheating of the metal during repair.
