Abstract | This project is devoted to visualization of the measuring system integrated in BFXpert system of Paul Wurth company. Thereby the results are accumulated in the central database and can be used at any time. The small part of required technological data (temperature, air slow pressure) has technical and measuring restrictions, e.g. during measurements of eddy flows. Special algorithms monitor such effects and evaluate actuality of conducted variations. Efficiency of the measuring system can be verified by the melt level measurements. The positive effect of usage of this system has been achieved at the blast furnace No. 5 of ROGESA (Roheisengesellschaft Saar) company in the following processes and parameters: residual slag amount control; warning about reaching of the critical level; preparing of pneumatic gun for closing a tap hole when melt is close to the critical level; varying of maximal values of the melt level; tap hole stability evaluation etc. |
