Sona BLW Präzisionsschmiede GmbH (München, Germany): |
Abstract | The companies operating extrusion lines display the more and more intensive initiative based on economical and ecological reasons, and they require the new technical solutions to be developed by extrusion equipment manufacturers, Such solutions should include increase of productivity, essential improvement of the power efficiency of the production facilities and cuttion carbon dioxide emissions. Until present time, optimization of the power efficiency of the induction heating furnaces was under especial attention due to using there the dynamic technologies of power engineering management. But as soon as their power efficiency has already reached the high level, another power consumers, such as drives and control systems, enter to the first row. As a result, the new eccentric presses MT (Meertorque) have been developed by Eumuco Hasenclever and the first forging press of that type has been put into practice in 2015 in München by Sona BLW Präzisionsschmiede GmbH. |
