Abstract | The developed and theoretically proved innovative bimetallic tube production technology has been presented. Manufacture of tunes with the size 351×36 mm and 426×40 mm from 10GN2MFA steel with an inner cladding layer of 08Kh18N10T steel with thickness 7±2 mm is examined. The area of application of such tubes is nuclear energy plants. The developed tubes allow to decrease theoretical consumption ratio of 10GN2MFA steel for production of shells; consumption ratio of 08Kh18N10T steel for production of inserts; consumption ratio of both steels in tube rolling at TPU 8–16 unit with pilger mills; consumption ratio of metals during rolling of hot-rolled rube billets in commercial cold-rolled tubes in KhPT 450 mill, as well as to lower tube rejects by cladding thickness and numbers of KCU rejects at –10 °C for the main metal (10GN2MFA). The length of commercial tubes 351×36 mm is also increased by 2.4 times. |
