Abstract | Abstract: Nevertheless the completely automatized electric steelmaking shop is only a perspective, there are many development ideas that make us close to this aim. It includes automatic scrap charging in electric arc furnaces, automatic transportation of steel pouring ladles, control and managing the technological process on separate units using up-to-date measuring and computation devices. This complete automation also contains simulation of the technological process, analysis of created models with permanently increasing amount of parameters. The paper is devoted to the features of automatized operations during electric steelmaking, automatic holding of the technological process and automatic control on technological equipment. Fully automated scrap ferries for loading of the chute to the elevator system and wireless tracking of steel ladles in the steelmaking shop are displayed. |
