We strive to attract new customers, serve new industries and open up new markets. Traditional customers in the automotive, machine engineering, energy, mining, aerospace and chemical sectors are being complemented by an increasing demand for Schmolz + Bickenbach products from new customers. Industries like health care, construction as well as food and packaging play an ever more important role among our customers. Opening up new markets, serving new industries and reaching out to new customers is anything but usual, taking into account that the global market for steel has undergone fundamental changes in the last couple of years.
