Abstract | The results of the Krasnoyarsk region primary and complex gold ores material composition studies are presented. The main ore types were determined: oxide, complex and primary ores. Total content of sulfides in ore is 13.3 %. The ores in question are moderately-sulfide, silica gold ores with a high content of silicon dioxide (58 %) and alumina (17 %). Gold content in primary ores reaches 9 g/t. Gold is the most valuable component in oxide ores, with grades of 4.8–5.3 g/t. The results of the ores in question dressability studies by gravity methods are analyzed. According to the GRG test data, quantity of gold recovered in 3-stage gravity concentration process was determined. With gold content in ore of 4.5 g/t, recovery into concentrate was 11.3 %. As a result, with optimal concentrate yield of 8.14 % and its gold grade of 13.65 g/t, recovery was 24.7 %. The dressability studies by flotation methods showed, that as a result of ore mix flotation processing with optimal reagent regime, concentrate is produced with gold grade of 33.06 g/t, recovery being 86.77 %. Gold content in tailings was 0.67 g/t. The metallurgical processing studies of ore and its benefication products showed that intensive cyanidation (Acacia test) provides for gold recovery into solution at 95.31 % (per operation), cyanide consumption being 45 kg/t of concentrate. Flotation concentrate proves to be highly rebellious with respect to treatment by cyanidation method. Gold recovery in sorption cyanidation with feed size (78 % of –0.045 mm size fraction) is 44.13 % (per operation). Decrease in material size to 95 % of –0.045 mm size fraction permits to increase gold recovery by 11.62 %. Oxide ores shall not be processed together with primary and complex ores. On the basis of the accomplished set of studies, a gravity-flotation-cyanide processing flow sheet with separate metallurgical treatment of concentrates is recommended. |
