Abstract |
Development of the potash mining industry in Russia is inextricably connected with the engineering of next-level mining machines capable of driving and cutting thin beds. The article describes investigation results on validation of characteristics and modes of operation of new heading-and-winning machine Ural-360 manufactured by Kopeisk Machine Building Plant. A feature of this machine is the drum head equipped with the central cutting chain. The authors present methods to calculate operating load of the cutting head of the machine, with the mutual agreement of multi-criterion processes during concurrent operation of the drum and chain. The operating load of Ural-360 machine is governed by loads on cutting units and their interaction with rock mass. An important characteristic of the machine operation is the load on drives of the drum and chain, dependent on operating conditions of cutting (feed velocity of the machine, cutting depth, parameter of interaction between neighbor cutters), which influence productivity of the machine and energy intake of cutting. The authors offer derived relations to find loads on individual cutters and on the cutting drum as a whole. In addition, the criteria of efficiency of the drum head are presented. The described procedure is used as the basis for the computer program in Borland Delphi 7 environment. It also includes analytical dependences between the forces on cutters and the drum, as well as the principle of variability and system of modeling different operation scenarios of the machines. The theoretical research findings on the case of full loading on the drives of the drum at the permanent configuration of cutters are presented. The recommendations on the parameters and operating regimes of Ural-360 with the drum equipped with cutters TP-35 in case of the diff erent rate of wear of the cutters are made. Under the rational operating conditions, the productivity of the machine will make 7–20 t/min. |
