Abstract | Health and safety are the problems of high priority to be solved in ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe (TKSE). It is shown that provision of “Fair Work”, decrease of number of accidents, integration of employees with unstable and variable operation results have real effect in current HR policy. The following practical problems of social responsibility have been discussed: determination and elimination of risk of accidents, integration of personnel with changed work results, professional reorientation after hard accidents. Seven main rules of TKSE safety code are presented: preference of health and safety protection; wearing of protection remedies; order and cleanness; correct usage of space and equipment; fire protection; general protection; no alcohol and drugs. |
