Sokolovsko-Sarbaiskoe Mining and Concentration Production Association is the largest mining and processing enterprise in Kazakhstan. Total area of lands, belonged to the Association, is more than 40 th. ha. In these conditions, organization and carrying out of natural protection work is very important. Responsibility on observance on natural protection legislation is assigned to almost all chief specialists. The labor and ecology protection department was created for organization and coordination of all natural protection operations. Besides, considerable attention is paid to monitoring of discharges of mine waters, and surface water objects. There are given the examples of developed and introduced measures, directed on improvement of environment state.
