Abstract | This article gives the results of geological-geochemical researches of Pastifskaya gold-bearing area. The range of closed sub-lateral areas of early silurian shales were developed on the researched area. These sub-lateral areas include intensively grounded, vein slicified, finely-dispersed, sulfidized and limonitized chlorite-sericitic and quartz-chloite-sericitic shales. These areas are placed between the fine-layer marbled carbonates. Capacity of these areas is up to 40°. In the east of the area, the porphyry-stringer quartz-gold-sulfide mineralization is included in tectonic contact of early silurian green shales and middle silurian — early devonian limestones. Eight ore bodies were found in this area. In the west part of the area, low-sulfide quartz veins are included in the contact of quartz breccias of early silurian green shales and late silurian carbonate rocks. Gold content in veins reaches 3 g/t. Mineralization is shown by fine scattered dispersion of pyrite, arsenopyrite, placer gold with chalcopyrite, halenite and antimonite in intensively crushed and silicified chlorite-sericitic shales, lamprophyre dikes, quartzites, light-gray quartz of bedded veins and milky-white quartz of cross veins. The basic mass of placer gold in finely-dendrite releases is connected with veins of light-gray quartz. Total mass of placer gold in finely-dendrite releases is connected with veins of light-gray quartz. Total content of sulfides in ore areas is not higher than 3%. In connection with surface excavations, detail lithogeochemical searches defined a contour of gold-ore areas of object and estimated the gold forecast resources, corresponding to the reserves of small-scale deposit. However, the prospects of object are considerably increased in connection with defined upper-ore level of erosional truncation of ore bodies. There are given the recommendations on further research of object for estimation of its prospects in reserves of industrial categories. |
