Abstract | The primary objective of the performed work was the optimisation and mine planning of complex structural deposits applying up-to-date computer technology including the development of the industrial model for reserve estimation, production planning and design of mining operations for the domestic mining enterprise. Creation of the geomathematical and mining engineering model for the Streltsovskoe deposit (JSC PPGKhO) was performed in three stages: modelling based on the results of geological exploration activities; update of the model with the exploration results; update of the model with the results of grade control drilling. The results were used for a comparative analysis. Thus, at the first stage the geomathematical model obtained from the geological exploration results was compared with the reserves approved by GKZ protocol, and the reserves of the mining engineering model obtained from geological exploration results were compared with the reserves of the project stage of preparation and mining of block 4g-713. At the second stage the geomathematical model obtained from geological exploration was compared against that obtained from operational exploration results, and the recoverable reserves as per the geomathematical model obtained from operational exploration were compared with the actual data of block 4g-713 mining. At the final stage the geomathematical model obtained from the operational exploration results was compared with grade control drilling of block 4g-713. The studies showed that the implementation of the geological and mining computer technology will increase efficiency at all stages of operations. |
