Economic and technological dominance of the world's leading countries is based on the science intensive and high-technological branches of industry. This dominance is provided both by the self scientific-engineering potential of these countries, and by the infrastructure which makes it possible to carry out the constant and system creation and introduction of innovations. Creation of national innovation system is one of the priorities of formation of innovation economy of Republic of Uzbekistan. Innovation activities of enterprises (including career-oriented, technological, scientific and organization improvement) are the important elements of this system. Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine works out an innovation development model for the purpose of guaranteeing of production volume increasing and cost saving. This model foresees the realization of the following activities: improvement of the Combine's management; formation of essential structures of development and control of innovation process; creation of environment and culture for the purpose of involving of the whole staff of the Combine into innovation activity; arrangement of close collaboration of the Combine's offices and scientific departments; planning of researches according to the development priorities of the Combine; active introduction of results into the practical training; purposeful training of specialists, which can provide the development, management and introduction of scientific achievements. Realization of innovation development strategy of Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine makes it possible to increase the economic efficiency of production and investment attractiveness of the Combine during the provision of sustainable social-economic development and essential level of production and ecological safety.
