Abstract | The article is devoted to further study of ball charge interaction with mill liner, using ball mill physical model. The results of analytical and experimental studies of ball mill charge pulp component and liner profile effect on liner plates wear pattern are presented. Certain liner plate types wear pattern specialties have been considered on the basis of classical mechanics' principles. Mill charge interaction with liners was studied at the initial moment of contact by a photography method. It is shown, that studies with a rotating camera permit to determine angles of attack by a direct method under any parameters of mechanical regime. This permits to choose a rational liner profile with respect to a certain mill operating regime, providing for exceedance of friction angle over true angle of attack in order to prevent sliding. Liquid phase presence effect on ball charge interaction with mill liner was ascertained experimentally. A method was proposed for determination of chargeliner interaction parameters in reversed motion. |
