The paper presents a successful example of the interaction between the Perm National Research Polytechnic University (PNRPU), Mining Institute of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and “Uralkaliy” OJSC in training of mining engineers. Key points of the concept of parties synergies in the field of education are given. The mechanism of parties interaction and the agreements results are shown on the example of the chair “Underground mining” of the Perm National Research Polytechnic University. Coordinating functions of the “Potassium Institute” in joint activities of educational institutions, research institutes and industrial companies in the field of higher and additional education are shown. The main directions of the educational activities of the «Potassium Institute» are given. Forms of synergies of PNRPU and partner companies of potash industry in the field of development and coordination of training programs according to the new state educational standards are shown. Also such synergies are displayed in the fields of students internship, graduates career guidance, training and retraining of the mining worker. The mechanism of attracting students of “Underground mining” chair to scientific research is given. The results of the growth of students' scientific activity in integration of science, university education and mining production are discussed. Participation of the partner companies of the mining industry in the Perm Territory is shown; it consisted of upgrading the material base of the “Underground mining” chair and instrumentation of educational and research laboratories with modern equipment.
