The article tells about the organization of after-sales service of open pit equipment of “BELAZ” JSC, which is exploited at the Ukrainian mining enterprises. Near one-third of all Ukrainian fleet of machines operate at the iron-ore Kryvyi Rih ore dressing and processing enterprises. The exploitation of conditions of other machines are for about 200 open pits on the extraction of construction materials. The depth of these open pits is to 50–60 m. The transporting distance is to 3–5 km on the low-quality roads, with nonoptimal correlation of parameters of excavators and mine dump trucks. The small number of machines` fleets caused the absence of production and engineering bases at most enterprises for the qualitative service and maintenance of equipment. There are shown the necessity and reasonability of the service expansion of mine dump trucks for increasing of operating characteristics of machines. For the last 5 years, the number of service enterprises on the territory of Ukraine increased from 3 to 5. A multiple increase of receipts from realization of services reached 6,5. Due to the joint work of service and exploiting enterprises, the coefficient of technical readiness of mine dump trucks with 130 t of the carrying capacity accounted 0,82–0,89 in Kryvyi Rih region. Attention is accented on the importance of preparation and retraining of all kinds of personnel: from workers to engineering and technical staff at the plantmanufacturer, enterprises, service centers and Kryvyi Rih National University.
