The quality management system, which was introduced at “BELAZ” JSC, is certified on the conformance to the international standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2008, and on the conformance to the Standards of the Republic of Belarus ISO 9001-2009, which is confirmed by the relevant Certificate in National System of Republic of Belarus and by the Certificate of Conformance in German system DAkkS. The quality of products is one of the most important strategic values, which is highly appreciated by “BELAZ” and offered to the customer, because it is obvious, that nowadays a quality competition is not a price competition. The quality of products is of a great value for open pit equipment, which has a long life cycle when operating in difficult mine and technical conditions of open pit for extraction of minerals. The products of enterprise have been supplied to more than 70 countries all over the world. Therefore it confirms with all international safety and environmental requirements, and has a high technical performance standards and competitiveness. It is reached by the compliance with all international standard requirements and technical normative legal acts, which are in force for similar products, as well as with technical codes and EU directives. International standards, which are harmonized with European requirements to similar products, are adopted on the enterprise:
-General safety requirements – Standards of the Republic of Belarus ЕN Series 474;
-Brake systems – Standards of the Republic of Belarus ISO 3450;
-Operator protection devices – Standards of the Republic of Belarus ISO 3171 and Standards of the Republic of Belarus ISO 3164;
-Steering systems – Standards of the Republic o Belarus ISO 5010;
-Visibility from the operator working place – State Standard ISO Series 5006;
-Marking – Standards of the Republic of Belarus ISO 10261 and Standards of the Republic of Belarus ЕN 474.
Open pit (earth-moving) equipment confirms with the requirements of European directive No. 2006/42/ЕС. With the supplying of this equipment to European market, it is obligatory marked with the «СЕ» sign. With a view to prove the quality and to improve the sales of products in 2006–2012, there was carried out the voluntary certification of all commercially available products. “The quality of products at every fabrication stage is a responsibility of manufacturer” – this concept is held and support by the enterprise, regarding the internal production divisions as well as regarding the suppliers of components, which enter into the structure of the finally constructed machine. Wide network of service centers all over the world provides the timely technical support when assembling and warranty service of supplied products and its technical support during its whole operating cycle. The enterprise carries out the introduction of modern methodologies on the prevention of defects of products at the stage of development and design, as well as at the stage of launching the products into manufacture. The high level of products quality and organization of quality management on the enterprise are proved by the quality awards of “BELAZ” both in Republic of Belarus, and in the international level.
