Tsvetnye Metally
In this issue, readers can learn about the Udokan copper ore deposit opening, described in the articles written by the specialists from the Science-Research and Design Institute “TOMS” (the «Benefication» item). Results of investigation of the material composition of this deposit ores are considered together with various ore-processing technologies. A brief review of the stages of design of the efficient ore processing scheme is given, and the advanced flotation and hydrometallurgical scheme is recommended.
The article by T. A. Ivanova, V. A. Chanturiya, I. G. Zimbovskiy and V. V. Getman (the «Benefication» item) shows the investigation of influence of complexing agent diantipyrylmethane on flotation of sulfide minerals, cassiterite and silver, included in refractory tin sulfide ores.
This item also discusses the modeling of the grinding process in ball-tube mills.
The item «Rare metals, semiconductors» tells about the flow scheme for processing of large parts of wastes of rhenium-containing heat-resistant nickel alloys.
