Awide range of processing solutions with a view to beneficiation of different types of mineral raw materials is presented in this issue of the journal.
The choice of the Bakyrchikskoye deposit rebellious gold sulfide ore processing technology is rationalized, providing rationalization for different methods of decarbonization, flotation and hydrometallurgical treatment (the paper by V. N. Kovalev,et al.). The important aspects of the diamond recovery plants’ Process Regulation are considered in the paper by А. V. Bogdanovich,et al. A technology is proposed for kaoline feed processing that includes treatment in autoclave with subsequent wet sizing (the paper by V. A. Arsentyev,et al.). The studies, performed with application of optical and electronic microscopy, permitted to develop a primary chromite ore tailings retreatment technology (the paper by G. I. Gazaleeva,et al.). Lead-zinc ores tailings processing results were improved through application of combination collector and water-air microemulsion generator (the paper by L. V. Semushkina,et al.).
The developments pertaining to certain processing procedures are also described in this issue of the journal.
The interest to the possibilities of X-ray luminescent separation is not waning. So, V. P. Mironov showed that that diamonds separation efficiency is increased with X-ray luminescence registration in associated minerals’ luminescence minimum region. The method is protected by patent. The scientific novelty of the technical solutions implemented in the design of flotation classifiers, commercially tested on hematite ore processing tailings and Zhezkazgan concentrating plant tailings, is affirmed by the patents (the paper by Yu. P. Morozov, et al.).
A topic of interest related to waste utilization is considered through the example of recycling of time-expired electronics with low content of precious metals (the paper by S. V. Dmitriev and А. S. Stepanyan).
