The item «Heavy Non-Ferrous Metals» shows the brief analysis of involving of alternative manganese ore sources (ferromanganese concretions) in production. This article shows the results of large-scale investigations of the development of optimal complex technology of obtaining of conditioned metal-bearing semiproducts from various ferromanganese concrections, suitable for further processing with obtaining of marketable manganese and non-ferrous metals concentrates.
The item «Rare metals, semiconductiors» tells about the possibility of application of some weakly basic anionites for sodium tungstate conversion into ammonium tungstate.
The articles by the members of Navoi Mining-Metallurgical Combine tell about the reasonability of application of combined technologies for high-refractory gold-sulfide ore processing. There are also considered the prospects of involvement of anthropogenic objects into processing, and application of ill-conditioned waters in hydrometallurgical production.
Authors from the National University of Science and Technology «MISiS» set a technological mode of the process of plasma-electric oxidation of alloy VT6 (BT6), making possible the composite coating obtaining, consisting basically of double oxide (TiAl2O5) with high-temperature modification of aluminium oxide (α-Al2O3). This coating improves the wear resistance of titanium alloy by more than 6 times.
