Aleksandr Vasilevich Bogdanovich is a famous specialist in the field of researching of mineral raw materials and creation of its processing technologies. He has an academic degree of a Doctor of Engineering Sciences.

A. V. Bogdanovich was born in Vladivostok. He studied and worked in Kazakhstan. Since 1984, he has been living in Saint Petersburg. Besides the studying of his basic speciality, A. V. Bogdanovich likes to travel: he visited Tien Shan, Altai, Sayans and Baikal. He also was keened on the windsurfing, mountain skis and pulling down the mountain rivers on the float. A. V. Bogdanovich had been a head of the theatre of variety miniatures for about a fifteen years. He is a connoisseur of poetry, classic music and painting.

He has been poetizing for thirty years and published five books of poems. His poems were also published in the periodical editions and literaly miscellanies in Saint Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Alma-Ata, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Zyryanovsk and Yakutsk.

He is a member of Russian Inter-regional Writers Guild (Saint Petersburg).

Nowadays, the basic interests of the author are mountain skis and collecting of modern poetry and searching for new talented poets.

The author expresses a sincere gratitude to the governing body of «Mekhanobr Engineering» JSC, which helped to publish this book.
