There are designated the main problems interfering to the forward development of mining operations of the region. There is defined the high potential value of mining objects against a background of low level of investment activity. Necessity of introduction of prospective geotechnologies and mineral raw materials marketing is described. Expansion of mineral resources base and mining production volumes in the Komi Republic depends mostly on creation and mastering of new technologies of extraction and concentration of crude ore, including complex and refractory ores. The considered deficiency of qualified personnel is a global problem of industry. There are shown the needs of future mining enterprises for a manpower. There is emphasized the necessity of cooperation of large, medium and small business for investment of infrastructure and social projects.
