A project of ore mining and processing enterprise on Lomonosov diamond deposit was developed in 2002 with participating of more than 20 leading projecting and scientific-research organizations. A big preparation work – a planning design – preceded to the beginning of the project. On the assumption of the results of their implementation, a technical task of the project development provided:
• a first and foremost development of Arkhangelskaya, Karpinsky-1 and Karpinsky-2 pipes;
• productivity of ore mining and processing enterprise on extraction and processing of diamond containing ore – 5 million tones of dry ore per year.
Via “NPV Sheduler” programm complex, the project assigned an essential pit in the boundaries of open cast mining with most favorable economic indices, which are suitable for the price conjuncture for that period.
Due to the project, there was forseed the involving to the development of ore reserves of Arkhangelskaya pipe to 40 meters deep; involving of Karpinsky-1 pipe to 310 meters deep; involving of Karpinsky-2 pipe to 110 meters deep. An essential pit life from the beginning of capital mining operations is 24 years; stable production period with a yearly output for 5,6 million tones of raw ore is 20 years.
There is recommended a method of a pair development of an adjoining working benches on one transport level. The level allows to reduce the efforts on a construction and transpering temporal highways in open pit`s working area, which means that volumes of an imported detritus consumption.
Currently, “Yakutniproalmaz” institute does a correction of a construction project of ore mining and processing enterprise for 2002.
