An unsufficient development of own raw materials base of granite blocks takes place in Russia. An export volume of Russian granite blocks is unsignificant: in 2010 it made up 1888 m². Belarus was ans still is it`s basic customer (70 – 90% of Russian export volume). An import volume of granite blocks exceeds an export to 6 times. Basic importers for Russia are Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Finland.

The basic legislation equated a geological surveying experimental open pit to the operating open pit, due to the passing stages of premissing documents. That means, that all payed examinations and payments are already concerned not only to the open pit, but also to the geological surveying manufacturings. Although, there is an unknown fact on this stage: does the subsoil area have a mineral resource, or does not. At the same time, in Russia, the presence of mineral resource is not confirmed in more than 50% of cases.

Only if changing the subsoil legislation, such a situation could be changed.
