Basic directions of the Institute scientific research on support and development of diamond mining of stock company “ALROSA” are covered: research in the sphere of long-term planning and development prospects of “ALROSA”, technical-economic assessment and substantiation of expediency of mineral deposits mining, development of feasibility studies of exploration and operational conditions of diamond deposits, evaluation of investments efficiency and realization of organizational-technical measures, research in the sphere of business management practices, social-economic investigations and perspective of their development. Information about applied methods of projects’ commercial efficiency assessment is provided, including risk valuation by method of simulation “Monte Carlo”. Basic results of investigations, developments, and project solutions are cited, carried out in cooperation with functional structures of “ALROSA” Management, providing continuous innovation development, perfection and modernization of the Company.
