During a four-month test program at the copper concentrator in Chuquicamata, forming part of Codelco Norte division of Codelco Chile, operational efficiency of TankCell^® 300 and two TankCell 160 flotation machines was compared. According to the obtained results, TankCell 300 efficiency is similar to that of two TankCell 160 machines. One cell produced concentrate with 20% copper content and 56% copper recovery on average.
