Реферат | State of the economy of the Commonwealth countries at the end of 2010 has been analyzed according to the Interstate Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the statistical organizations of CIS countries, Bulletin of Foreign Commercial Information materials and industry publications. A positive dynamics of development is noted. The given facts confirm an upward trend of most macroeconomic indicators including gross domestic product, industrial production and value of export-import operations. In all countries, except Moldova, it is registered an increase in output of metallurgical production, including fabricated metal products. In respect of nonferrous metals in general, the CIS countries has demonstrated an increase in output of primary aluminum by almost 2.5% and nickel by 3%. The production of refined copper, zinc and lead remained at the 2009 level. Enterprises of non-ferrous metallurgy play prominent role in almost all countries of the Commonwealth, with the exception of Belarus and Moldova. Plans of Turkmenistan to create a non-ferrous metallurgical plants has not yet moved beyond the discussion. In Russia, the sub-sector is represented by more than 500 companies associated with the extraction of ore, its processing and manufacturing of nonferrous, precious and rare metals, as well as wide range of mill products based on them. State of the Russian economy generally corresponds to the world global trends, the positive dynamics of its development is expected to continue. According to the authors, opinion, the positive results in 2010 were stipulated by growth of prices and demand for steel products, increased activies in the field of capital construction and foreign trade, intensification of investments.
